Robert and I had become acquainted at random dog shows for a couple years and later "met" again in late 2003, and the rest is history.
Both of us were active in Bulldogs so when we came together we both had Bulldogs of our own. Robert had been showing for years, and I was very active in Bulldog Rescue- where I had met my mentors Mary Aiken and Jennifer Joseph- and was in college with my first Bulldog Emma Katinka. It is because of Robert that I started training and showing Nikki (BISS Ch Silverspoon InThe Nick of Time) in March of 2004 (actually it would probably be more accurate to say that she taught me how to show). Nikki finished in 7 months (at 13 months old) with 4 majors (one specialty major) and 1 single point. Piglet (BISS Ch Adamant Limited Edition) came to live with us in late May of 2004 and has become the (second) love of my life; you could never ask for a sweeter boy. He finished in October 2005 with limited showing, taking 4 majors (2 specialty majors) and a Best in Show Puppy. 2009 was a busy year for us; we got married after being together for 6 years and welcomed our beautiful daughter Ella Rose into the world. She has quickly become an animal lover like her parents, and enjoys helping us take care of the dogs, chickens, turkeys, and rabbits every day. She has also become quite the puppy socializer and horse lover! At almost two, she is a great traveller already having been cross country twice, and all over California, Nevada, and Oregon for shows. We are members of Mother Lode Bulldog Club (MLBC), Bulldog Club of Northern California (BCNC), and Bulldog Club of America (BCA).
